Tips: What is OBD2 scanner?
Generally, automobiles equipped with a microprocessor control unit have a fault self-diagnostic system. The car OBD2 scanner (also called as car diagnostic tool) is a portable intelligent automobile fault self-checker used to detect automobile faults. The user can use it to quickly read the faults in the automobile electronic control system, and display the fault information on the LCD screen to quickly find out the fault location and reason. It can be used to automatically check and monitor the working status of each part of the vehicle’s internal transmission system and control system. When the car breaks down, the fault indicator on the dashboard will flash to warn the owner that there may be a problem with the car. Press the button and the fault code will be displayed on the dashboard. At the same time, the fault signal will be stored in the memory. Even if the ignition switch is turned off, the fault is eliminated, and the fault indicator light is off, the fault signal will still be retained in the memory for maintenance personnel to judge the fault of the car.
