Tips: What should I do when an alarm occurs on a fixed methane gas monitor?

When the fixed methane gas monitor sends out an alarm signal, you should take measures immediately. First, try to avoid any open flames or electric sparks to prevent triggering an explosion. Then, evacuate people quickly to avoid inhaling harmful gases. Turn off the leakage source and ventilate the area to reduce the methane concentration in the environment. After that, check the cause of the methane gas detector alarm, if it is a false alarm it needs to be calibrated or maintained. If a methane leak is confirmed, contact a professional for repair and further testing to ensure a safe environment.
