Q: Why does the new probe feel loose or refuse to tighten properly when I try to install it?

A: That usually happens if the module isn’t pushed in far enough. Make sure to align the pins and turn the nut counterclockwise two or three times to engage the threads, then press the probe shaft firmly inward toward the main body until it seats properly before tightening the nut all the way.
