Tips: Why does the fixed carbon monoxide (CO) gas tester fail to detect gas?

Possible reasons include:

  1. The sensor is faulty or old and needs to be replaced.
  2. The carbon monoxide gas detector is installed in an inappropriate location, such as too much ventilation or away from a possible CO source, preventing the gas from reaching the sensor effectively.
  3. Unsuitable ambient temperature or humidity affecting detection accuracy.
  4. The gas monitor is not properly calibrated or the battery is low.
  5. It is recommended to check the condition of the equipment, its installation location, and perform maintenance or replace parts as needed.
