OTDR Graph
Application
OTDR (Optical Time Domain Reflectometer) measures fiber attenuation, splice loss, and fault location by analyzing the backward scattered light as it propagates through the fiber. It provides detailed information on the loss distribution along the fiber’s length. This makes the OTDR tester a crucial tool for fiber optic cable construction, maintenance, and monitoring.
Tips: How to Avoid OTDR Device Damage?
- Pay attention to the warning function during use to prevent excessive optical signals from damaging the OTDR module.
- Regularly check the battery level to avoid low battery affecting device performance.
- Perform data backups promptly to prevent data loss and ensure the safety of test results.
